We had a tale of 2 extremes last Saturday for Round 2 of the Winter Cup qualifier. With the weather conditions near perfect for most of the morning and part of the afternoon, it took a 180 degree turn at around 3PM as a huge band of rain came in suspending play. However, that didn’t stop competitors from finishing and posting some fantastic scores!
Well done to the pair of Stephen Berger & Terry Berger for taking out the top seed. The pair had a total of 84 points, 1 point in front of pair’s Paul Rowney & Stephen Clark who had 83 points.
Congratulations to all those that made it into the match-play rounds, great effort and well deserved!
The Quarter Finals will commence Saturday July 1st and following matches to follow are:
